Lynchburg Museum Virtual Guided Tour
Currently you can access a “guided” tour of the Garland Hill Historic District courtesy of the Lynchburg Museum System. In 2022, the Museum undertook a project to document the City’s historic districts, beginning with Garland Hill, its oldest district. Extensive research resulted in the development of a virtual walking tour that includes photographs and audio stories now available on the Museum’s website. This guided tour will provide you with interesting details about the social history of several Garland Hill properties, along with further reading if you wish to learn more.

Lynchburg Museum Guided Walking Tour
On-demand guided tours of historic sites in Lynchburg are available from Museum staff upon request, with advance notice based on staff and site availability. On-demand tours are priced for adults, students, and children. Tours are free for museum members. Garland Hill is one of the sites featured by the Museum.
