122 Harrison Street – The General Early
This imposing house is Georgian Revival built in 1905 for Ruth and Mollie Early, two nieces of General Jubal T. Early, CSA. The land was originally part of the Tabb-Slaughter-Diggs property at 117 Madison Street. At one time this house contained as many as ten apartments, but has now been returned to a single family home. It is under extensive exterior and interior renovation to preserve its historic character.
