313 Madison Street – The Padgett House

The house is of Victorian Vernacular and built in 1883 by Robert C. Burkholder for George Fleming as rental property. The house was owned and resided in by Louise Padgett for over 30 years and was later owned by Mr. Burkholder’s great-great granddaughter. The house is a single family home now, having been renovated to eliminate its original duplex construction.
